Heavy bottle. Savoury nose, very Minervois; mulberries and those dark pan scrapings from a beef roast. Very, very polished; very well made. You could slide down those tannins like the wide, gleaming bannisters of a great curving staircase in a stately home. Beautifully resolved oak. Every element in place, impeccably pressed, dapper, sartorial elegance.
